The original.
Our story began in Old Town Scottsdale, where we opened our doors in May of 2015. We chose this bustling neighborhood for its vibrant mix of culture, art, and tourism, it felt like the perfect place to share our passion with both locals and visitors from all over. Since day one, our goal has been to create a welcoming spot where anyone can unwind and enjoy a great beer, whether you're a seasoned craft beer lover or just stopping by on your Scottsdale adventure. A storied address.
Long before there was beer here, there were bullets. From 1975 until the early 2000s, this corner of Scottsdale Road and Goldwater Boulevard was home to Mandall's Shooting Supplies, a bright pink gun store known for its imported firearms and an underground shooting range with six 50-foot concrete tunnels. Out front stood the shop's iconic large sign featuring it's mascot, a teddy bear holding a machine gun. Before that, it was a Corvette shop.

When we took over the space in 2015, the building had been sitting empty for years. We kept what we could. The old range lanes now hold our fermentation tanks, and the iconic bear logo lives on as Machine Gun Teddy, our award winning brown ale. Every pint poured in Old Town carries a little of that history with it.

Do you serve food?
While we don't serve food directly, we encourage take-out from neighboring restaurants or bringing your favorite takeout. We host food trucks occasionally so that you can enjoy delicious eats with your favorite brew. Please visit our food truck schedule to learn more.
Where can I park?
Parking can be limited, but don't worry, we have options. You can find parking spots along Scottsdale Rd. in front of our building, shared spots with Sip Coffee, or across the street in the Staples complex. Additionally, there's 3-hour parking available along Bishop Lane, just west of our building. We've got you covered!
Can I bring my dog?
Good news for dog lovers! Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome to join you during your visit. We want all our guests to have a great time, so please ensure your furry friend remains quiet and respectful of others. If your dog doesn't get along with other dogs, we kindly ask that you leave them at home. Our bartenders reserve the right to assess each situation individually, and they may ask you to leave if there are any concerns. We appreciate your understanding.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! We're a family-friendly establishment. Kids of all ages are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Please note that bar seating is reserved for adults only, so find a comfortable seat at one of our tables and enjoy quality time with your little ones.
